when i was waiting in the foreignl lane, i saw some people facing difficulty with the Egates. lucky i was let through after the crowd so it was just me and the machines...
But do remember to enter by the Thai lane, the Egates are all there.
wouldn't there be someone to check whether you are thai before they let you into the Thai lane Q?
my experience 2 weeks ago is the person standing there will just wave you over to join the normal foreign Q even though we told them SG passport.
at the normal Q, right at the corner nearer to the Egate, there is another personal standing there and he will let you through to the Egate directly when you ask and they will also ask you whether had you enter Thailand before.
machine wise, i was lucky to pass thru, saw someone from same flight failed at 2nd verification and was direct to another manual Q which i presume was faster than usual Q.
