I faced the same issue when i departed from bkk last month, first time tio. Maybe they are upgrading the system for adding in the additional 31 countries.

Like that we same flight, sq Maybe you walk faster than me and jam up the queue.

Can use. And also now already sep, you all friday see if they include the other 31 nationalities for e gate or still same intern blocking say only thai passport

Ps i hold up the queue, now need scan right 4 fingerprints, tried 2 different queues also failed.

On average, out of 5 sg passport holders, 2 failed for fingerprints, 1 failed for unknown reason. Only 2 can go thru.

At the start of the queue there got a board with all the countries that can use the auto gate. But need walk very close then can see.

The intern is still there, but to answer questions and not really stopping people.

yah same happened to me, in the end i go manual counter....

i think something wrong with the finger sensor.

The touchpad seems oily and got many fingerprints. I overheard somebody said touch the pad lightly can liao while I'm in the manual queue beside the auto gate. I think this fingerprint issue will continue to persistent unless they change to those glass surface de scanner.

My time almost everyone is facial scanning problem. Fingerprint one all no issue.

Else is a program issue. The machine cannot take too many passengers information per min

Their condition, must have visited Thailand before, never stated how long before and if it's on the same passport. I visited more than 10 years before but still not eligible despite meeting all three conditions.

They should word it to 'your current active passport must contain a previous Thai entry stamp from a prior trip'. This will be when biometrics were collected with the current passport.

Arrived at dmk airport days ago. Seemed to have more non-uniformed staffs answering and directing the passengers. Maybe immigration staffs in the office come to help.

The machines have updated the screen with much better instructions and audio instructions.

During the reading of the passport data, it will say wait for 2 minutes.

After selecting 30 days visa, first gate open.

Then scan face without glasses on.

When it ask you to scan the 4 right fingers, it will say put your hand flat on the scanner. Really put your hand flat on the scanner as if they want to read your palm too. Don't just put the tips of the fingers.

Yeah they could have word it better. Their website and foreign news websites are more detailed than the banner
