eGPU for Laptop

Hey guys, I'm thinking of building a eGPU for my laptop but I'm not sure if eGPU actually helps in gaming performance. What do you guys think?

Does your laptop even support eGPUs?

What is the current chipset?

It would be better to just build an mini itx pc with a power graphic card n remote into the pc/stream from PC to ur laptop.
