How long does it take to receive the SIM card by mail ah? I submitted my port in request on national day....4 working days after liao still haven receive.

Reminder to all to activate the Auto Recharge feature, unless you plan to keep track of the monthly expiry and recharge manually.

Just went down to ubi earlier and termination of my free sim took around 10 minutes then proceeded to port over. Now my Zym is unusable. Guess I'll wait for awhile before my number gets ported over:)

Hi all, if I go ubi tmr to sign the $0 plan and port in my existing line (giga) to eight, will the port in done over weekend? Or most likely will be port in next week?

Also, the ubi outlet still doesn’t open on weekend?

according to some folks here, they had been to the service ctr on saturday, no idea on sunday
i just went there today, just to share, port in at the service centre you can only take $8 plan. $0 plan is only available on online port in

for my line, it took a few hours to port in successfully
did at 530pm and by 1025pm i was able to access my line

Just realized the website states add on for roaming is aligned to plan expiry which sounds abit weird but maybe also still not that bad.

I waited more than 2 weeks and still no come. Wanted to use the roaming for my trips, ended up i finished 2 trips and still didmt received. Eventually i go ubi collect.

You jump from zym? Can share how is the 8 compare to zym? I intend to jump 2 of zym over 8

Porting process normally happens around that time of the night.

Turn on Auto Recharge, top up the wallet and/or link a credit card, and they'll automatically deduct $8 every 30 days.

Happens with an MNO too, latest just last week. First time they said will mail again but still didn't arrive and eventually didn't bother to reply email. I gave up and went to their service center then they issued a card no explanation no apology nothing. I forgot about their inefficiency and chose mailing again but this time waited only the said 5 working days before going there. Still had the cheek to check my mailing address before waiving the $5 charge when I've been a multiple line holder since their trial days.

Yours around when they're ending the $0 offer? That's the overwhelming period so it's not surprising. I'd say go collect at Ubi (which you fortunately did), unless you willingly want to wait longer.
