btw. those porting from Circles.Life to eight. you will need to check in your Circles.Life app, check if there is this security setting enabled. Must disable before porting.
when i went down to port over, the guy told me that.

but i still wont use this line for my banking otps..its too high risk..
maybe they monitoring this thread for "complaints"

no lah, all my eight lines are spare lines and kids' lines. So no otp issues.

I just curious how long they took to fix his otp issue
I'm guessing they could be skimming through the emails, just not replying. There're people who said they sent emails daily for a whole week or two before they got a reply, so if I'm the person tasked to look at the emails, I'd also reply until give up. Just solve the issue and not reply. :crazy:

I sent email for termination of free 88 day line,
terminated and received reply in exactly 5 minutes

they can be fast if they want to (y)

understandable, as i used to tell my boss, "do you want me to spend my time to solve the issue, or to prepare powerpoint slides?"

and when most of the emails are just copy-pasta from FAQ, it's not just low value work, but low return on effort, so probably, those emails get pushed to the end of the queue.

i guess, because they have the time to attend to you, when they ignore the "hey, when are you going to copy pasta from the faq because i don't want to read it?" emails :ROFLMAO:

hmm, maybe the only way is to complain to IMDA everyday until they have no choice but to resolve asap

to be honest, if other telcos (MVNOs) can process the port in of lines with no issue to calling, otp sms etc, there should not be any issue with eight. Or eight is very lousy in doing the port in process, then IMDA should penalise them

I just signed up for eight today. Currently cannot login to the account via app(didn't receive otp). Is it normal?

just signed up and activated today?

Try using their website portal , see if can receive sms opt. Otherwise, wait awhile, as you just activated the line

Comex. But I realized they didn't give me temporary number. Lol. Need temporary number to login to acc ya (port in). Or where can I find the number?

Lol i got my replies after a month, but they did reply
