Did you have the option of choosing postpaid or prepaid on your phone when you first put in sim card?

Just collected my SIM card from Pasir Ris. Queue about half an hour. The network name is StarHub, and not Eight.

Cause its using Starhub as its backbone.

Might be similar to some others that had issues i.e. not activated correctly. Reference below.

Summary
For those with SIM issues, e.g. no network, no data, Eight resolved them within 24 hour of contacting them for my 3 issues.

Yes, but usually MVNOs will use their own network name right? The ones I saw before like Giga or Zero1.

Mine like some of the rest shows "Eight", so might be model dependent?

just plug in the sim and it. works

Other than this the signal above ground was way stronger than Starhub, M1 and certain area Singtel can't match.

Different lah. Simba launch they havent had their infrastructure up yet.
This eight is using existing starhub infrastructure.
