Tiong Bahru looks permanent, but only for SIM replacement, not collection unless during specified timeslot.

Speed is quite good, I tested on green line underground, connection didn't drop. M1 at City Hall always drop.

they blocked me, I didnt even do anything in thier 2 discussion group just because they "own" & created the groups #LOL .. #power hunger #vengful

Yup, what a joke. Say people leech and never contribute, more like admin making use of users as free labor, then admin leech information to post on other sites. Everyone should just leave the group and let the admin talk to himself.

Let me contribute more:

Went to Batam last week for 3 days 2 nights.
The roaming partner is Indosat (INDOSATOOREDOO)
The initial roaming is very very not stable. The signal keep missing and disconnects.
There are times when I book GoCar (Gojek apps) halfway disconnect, but luckily manage to connect back.
Every time missing, got to set airplane mode ON and then OFF.
Later on, I found out, it is way better if you just choose the network manually instead of auto. this will prevent most of the disconnection.

Manage to use up 1GB of data there.
The warning SMS only comes when I reach SG
immediately received 3 SMS: 50%, 85% and 100%

Now in BKK roaming looks good.

So far working for Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
Still no joy for India. Emailed them and no response yet.
Anyone tried for Vietnam?

So one thing confirms; Roaming is capped at 1GB.

from eight FAQ:

heard that some users got sms at 50% / 75% / 100% data usage. So did you receive any sms?

Roaming SMS at 50% / 85% / 100% but only received it when I'm back to SG

eight didnt include a list of the friendly telco to connect overseas...

I will be in Batam this weekend to try.

I normally do manual scanning and lock to the appropriate network. Free roaming network will still charge if the network used isn't their partner's, I believe.

(Test and test, that at one time also good connection but these days want load don't load )
