the idd calls part is definitely not clear.

For a start, Vietnam is on the idd list. But I was not able to make a call back to Singapore, nor can I make a call locally in Vietnam. Using iPhone and fold5 (VoLTE) to try

luckily, I have simba as well, so able to use simba voice app to call Singapore local lines.

Vietnam IDD is supported, i.e. can call direct from SG > VN. For your case, you were roaming in VN. Referring to the APAC Roaming list, VoLTE in VN is not supported. Hence, you were not able to make outgoing calls.

That's my assumption. Do correct me if my understanding is incorrect.

the purpose of tnc is it should be clear, otherwise what the point
simple info should even be cleared via faq

looking at the roaming link
in a layman term if your assumption above is correct

can call = part of entitlement
cannot call = not part of call and cover under no bill shock because call wont connect which also mean incoming shouldnt work too
this is simpler to understand if its how it works

the faq is so vague

Now with the cessation of 3G, Volte is required to be ON to call landline. Does Volte usage counts as data or outgoing call? Likewise if we receive call from SG while we are overseas, will Volte usage deduct from allocated roaming as per roaming plan?
