5G spotted in Buangkok for a while before dropping back to 4G. Saw some on FB commented after free trial speed dropped but for my case still the same. Hitting 120mbps on good days (and of cuz much less during peak hour underground) while my Simba hits 20mbps with 5G outdoor lol.

$8/$18 for the plan. Anything more, walk off and report to 8. 🙂
Yes, go down all the way to the reseller, and if they want to charge you more, walk off.

That's a bit of a risk, isn't it? Unless you're so free.

If there's a retailer nearby, then the loss of time is not so bad.

I'll either order it online or go down to Ubi.

Highly unlikely can replace your fibre to stream your netflix. Home fibre 500mbps, simba at most 50mbps, in reality maybe 5mbps sometimes.
If you live on your own, 300GB for 30 days (10GB per day) is likely to be sufficient. If you live with your family and say there are two teenagers streaming videos all day long, and two adults watching Netflix 4k at night, you're living in la-la land.

And we're not even talking about the terrible 5G speeds that Simba is so famous for, especially for indoors reception. I presume you don't live in a tent outdoors, right? :ROFLMAO:

And if you work from home and take Teams or Zoom video calls regularly, try explaining to your boss why you can't hear him clearly.

La-la land.

Want to be cheap, need to also be smart.

Give it a try. Get the Simba 5G 300GB data-only plan, turn off your home fibre, and try it out for a week.

If your family don't disown you by the end of the week, it's a win.

Eight sent a promo sms to my previous free trial expired new numbers - renew plan $8 get free $10 credits on them. Seems like they got lots of acquisition/marketing budget to exhaust lol.
