that's not going happen . Business times last week report that Simba subscribers is increasing to 1.1m.

They gain 2 sub for every 1 sub lost to Starhub
They gain 1.8 sub for every 1 sub lost to m1

I know some people might not like it, but the truth is simba is gaining grounds, Simba arpu is increasing. What we see here is like people going over to eight more, but that is just for hwz people, doesn't represent the majority.

But then, it's good that eight is matching simba and more to come soon, better benefit consumers like us

Totally agree. Hwz only represents a small community. The wider community can have very different consumer choices. Convenience, availability and ease of set-up probably makes SIMBA attractive.

by doing the Shopee recharge does this means like I get 28 + 10 credit to my account and let it auto detect from there until recharge finish? Or I need to do something on my accounts

That's true, the Malaysians around me have either switched to Eight or Simba.

Auto recharge is different from auto deduct/ main wallet balance?

Topup goes with your main wallet balance that still gets deducted automatically. (Wallet balance to some basically means locked in credits)

Auto recharge should be you linked your card to auto deduct from there? (No wallet balance, no lock in)

it's good for me, but my experience won't map on to yours unless you stay where i stay, go where i go, at the times i go

suggest you just sign up a new line to try out for a month or two. if no good, cut. if good, port in.
max loss is 1-2 months subs.
