I’m in Bangkok, no issue with the 4G also.
its using dtac network.

Works in India as well. Even in Tier 2 cities where Simbas Sim doesnt work. Connects to Vi India.

They have a second provider as well (BSNL) but i cant seem to latch on to it. Anyways Vi is way better.

I read from their FB responses they mention app and port-in will be available before the trial period is over. So would be pretty soon.

Until all run out of patience.

Eight network is getting better.. Previously mine work area very lousy.. 1mbps now is 50mbps.

Probably when eight was launched, people get sim cards and stress test the network. After around a month in now, people get bored and use the sim as per normal or put one corner.

No lar.. My workplace is me alone with a small team in a remote place. Nobody do speedtest except me.

Do you get a lot of spam SMS when entered MY? My free plan when the roaming activate, got a lot of spam come in. Decide not to keep the SIM when expire

I do get a few spam sms, but Xiaomi UI is good at identifying and blocking them. I didn't really notice anything specific about spams related to being in Malaysia

Scamshield and Google's Message app is pretty good at filtering these messages.

yup, I am highly setisfied with eight

when they allow, I will be first to port over my existing number

Can't check for now. But they will inform you by SMS when U use 50% or more of the 88GB.
