Did eight suddenly start to provide wifi calling? Suddenly seeing it working on my phone
Been there for some time.

ut sometimes not very reliable.
How so?
I don't have a bad experience with it as most of the time it will auto turn on once i am connected to my internet or work internet.

Hmm, now that i look at it, all are starhub :cautious:

Haha, not yet.

MyRepublic Fibre Broadband is now part of StarHub.

MyRepublic Mobile is still an independent company. MyRepublic 4G plans should still use M1 infrastructure. MyRepublic 5G plans are using StarHub. infrastructure.

But MyRepublic Mobile may eventually become part of Starhub even though StarHub already has Eight (wholly owned subsidiary) to fight with SIMBA, M1 Maxx and others.

On and off fails to connect to wifi calling, usually does works so it hasn't been much of an issue.
By comparison, Simba & Maxx is noticeably more consistent in connecting to Wifi Calling, hardly fails.

The customer service is quite bad? I sent email to retrigger portin and the auto reply said 5-7 working days. That's a long time!
As far as i know, they have 2 email address which you should send your requests to. helpme@eight.com.sg and portin@eight.com.sg. When i had to request for retrigger of portin earlier this month, the helpme address responded within 2 business days and resolved my request. Whereas the portin reply came after almost 5 business days, and was already resolved by then. So just send to 2 addresses and see which one processes your request first.

Thanks for this. I dropped a mail to the help me email and they responded quite fast.

How is eight reception/ surfing experience vs vivifi?

i had used vivifi for quite some time before i switched to eight.

i would say that in lion city, sinktel network is better for sure (overall), but starhab is also not too bad. so eight is ok overall.

and eight has one more roaming partners than eight in bolehland.
