u probably do not understand how much 588gb data one month means, even u are on ur mobile phone 24x7 also there is NO WAY you can FINISH that.

it is exactly the reason why telcos or MVNOs can afford to list so high data quota to consumers without worrying insufficient bandwidth. It is simply because no way any consumer can consume finish them. If they could, the telcos and MVNOs will need to worry about their infra first.

Same goes to fibre bb, now everyone is on 10Gbps plan, u tot why they can list such plans for consumers?

not to mention that eight's speed is significantly slower now. It makes it ZERO probability for one to finish that.

if one can NEVER finish even ONE month of data quota given, what's the point of rollover even for few months?

Give free why complain.

The $8 Double Eight Plan is no longer available for new sign-ups. It has been replaced by the new $8.80 Double Eight Plan.

The benefits have also been increased:
• Local data: 528GB → 588GB
• APAC roaming data: 12GB → 18GB
• International roaming data: 3GB → 6GB

Not much point to upgrade the entitlements when it's still a 4G plan IMO, Starhub 4G is around its max limits and experiencing slowdowns more common nowadays.

website says 28GB APAC but portal says 28GB APAC (20 Countries)

Just login to your eight account and you will be able to convert to old/new plan.

2 methods to do so:
- Plan / Add ons / Top up: immediate
- Billing: next billing period

Will eight get this?

No.

eight and giga will be lower priority, compared to StarHub SIM Only plans and StarHub Prepaid 5G plans which are rated at 5G+.

Is this the same as singtel 5g+?

StarHub 5G+ is Similar to SingTel 5G+ Enhanced/Priority.

SingTel 5G+ Enhanced/Priority plans will have higher priority than the normal 5G+ plans like SingTel S$15.28 plan and 5G+ plans from SingTel hi!, Gomo, Zym, Zero1, VIVIFI and CMLink.

StarHub 5G+ plans (StarHub and StarHub Prepaid) will have higher priority than the normal 5G plans from eight, giga and MyRepublic.
