I noticed I can sign up for the $0 plan again after canceling my soon-to-expire $0 plan. :o
How did you do it?My 2 nbrs already cancelled via email few days back and approved.I applied online but stuck at ID.See my post #3720.

I'd think the hours in Eight's website are those contracted to serve Eight users as service centers, since they're after all regular mobile resellers. Whether they're willing to continue during their own hours is up to them, like the Ubi one who's keen to look into "weird" occurrences as mentioned by someone here.

I think the Lucky Plaza one could be a "specialized" staff engaged in the beginning who, for some reason/s, went MIA leaving the regular reseller people to deal with Eight matters...

Approved as in you received correspondence confirming your lines have already been terminated?

I dunno leh. I tried to sign up as soon as I received confirmation email that my line was terminated and was successful.
I just did it, no issues with verifying ID. Probably your lighting bad or something. Btw I cancelled yesterday.

using different number right?
I don’t think it works for port in, no option change to $0 plan.
Need to port in or use new number for $0 plan.

Overall we can only have 2 lines. Unless you get at least one line terminated first, there's no way you can get another one. Whether new signup or port-in.
