I see some you using the term "top up or to recharge the plan". Is this a prepaid or postpaid plan ? 🤔

wait for awhile lah. Still in progress of porting
Really? Usually how long is the wait ah? I scared is my number issue. Because for me I had some issues with calls and sms with singtel after changing my phone and upgrading to 5g. Like sometimes people can't reach me and hear singtel customer unavailable when my phone is on and at full bar then sms can't send out sometimes then can't receive sms sometimes too. All my otp have to avalanche the resend to 'open the sms channel' just to receive the otp. The 'channel' closes quick as well. All these calls and sms issues can happen even when phones calling mine are side by side. Change sim card, then change again to esim not working. Mobile network reset not working. Even escalate to their internal engineer. Tell me my sms back end can't identify something so can't send to my phone. I fed up with the no solution so decide to port to eight which is under starhub and hopefully my number will get a fresh start at 'new environment'. Port in successful sms came at 12.40am. Can use 4g. Now 4.35am still no one can call me and I can't receive sms. Bank otp and all can't receive. All except eight's otp which I can receive. Feels odd. Network or phone hardware issue? Anyone can advise?

Have you restarted your phone?
Thanks for your reply. I turned off my phone before switching the SIM card. Anyway, I have restarted the phone but I'm still unable to receive the OTP.

Many a time port in process completely done only well after 9am.

Everybody don't 🕷️

It is now 10:06 am which is well after 9 am and I am still unable to receive OTP SMS, despite restarting the phone.

Their customer service is, as usual, not responding. I had thought going to their service centres would be quicker and helpful to get answers. Alas, I got bad and rude treatment. Got scolded, belittled and then ignored. I guess if I wasn't as stupid as I am, I'd be like them working behind the counter?

I wonder if free service is worth the poor or complete lack of customer service?

The timings I give is only as a guide, but not surprisingly, like I do sometimes too, kanchiong to check? But yes, if your number is that important, it's right to want to get everything done "on time". Maybe MVNO isn't that suitable for your expectations...

Another customer with bad luck with them.

where did you go for the customer support?

ubi server centre?

you mean you cannot receive bank otp? give yourself till afternoon. understand your anxiety. in the first place if Line is important you should visit their ubi service centre to sign up and port

For me, sms otp was only working in later afternoon in day after porting.
That's good to know. I do hope that it will work in the afternoon, preferably before 5:00 pm which is a certain bank's cutoff time.

I think most, if not everyone, will be "kan cheong" if it is pertaining to money.

I was previously with VIVIFI and I had no issue with their service despite all my correspondence with them being via emails. I even received an email from them this morning inviting me to come back. As for Eight, still no response since ... it is the weekend and they don't work on weekends?

Buy $8, Get $8 promo TnC is here:

Link: https://www.eight.com.sg/termsofservice

Shopee sellers selling main balance top-ups or plans are also retailer outlets, so I assume yes, they are also eligible for the free $8 promo.
you can go to shopee top up $8. eight will credit $8 to your wallet within 7 days. many review top up with hock mobile in shopee fast fast.

Hi all how do i stack these 2 (or 3) deals together (maximise the deals)? Or are these 2/3 are the same one? Thanks!

I am referring to the one from sabaisabai (as above) + recazone (as below).

Shopee seller now having promo for top up.

Buy $8 and get $8 free starting from this Thurs, 29 Aug 2024 .

Those who want to top up can go check it out.
