While roaming, eight can’t call to a third country. Example, while roaming in Malaysia, one cannot call to Indonesia.

On a serious note, i do not have any issue making calls back to Singapore from Malaysia.
i hope users who can’t make calls while roaming can get this resolved quickly by contacting eight.

Below is from eight FAQ. If I read it correctly, you can only call back to Singapore and the country you are in when roaming.

• Does roaming covers calls and SMS?
  • Our plans do include 288mins roaming calls back to Singapore and at the destination you roam at! For SMS, there will be no issues to receive OTP but our plans do not include outgoing SMS at the moment.

Below is from eight FAQ. If I read it correctly, you can only call back to Singapore and the country you are in when roaming.

As what @beyonder researched, yeah, can only place calls back
- to Singapore
- to a local number where you are roaming (in my case, Malaysia)

network volte is only relevant when we are roaming in the country. So in this case, if one with eight line goes to indo, one cannot place or receive through native phone apps.

what i did was initiating a phone call to Indo (a third country, in this case) when I was roaming in Malaysia. It doesn’t work.

i was curious abt simba, so i used simba to call an indo number while i was in Malaysia, and the call was successful.

Just to confirm. The retailer shop also able to accommodate port in right? I see there are many available neighborhood handphone shop, much convenience for me to do it.

Because previously I purposely go to Ubi main branch to do it.

Haha.. sorry not top up, is to port in. Because i need to port my other number but don’t intend to go ubi branch.

For top up, i already use shopee to earn 200 coin from dvtec seller.
