Until yesterday, the eight line had the VoLTE word appearing against the eight sim. But from yesterday it changed to handset symbol. Did you guys experience this change? What does that imply?

I still have VOLTE logo. Possible to screenshot your phone screen? what is your phone model?

The one on the left side. Right side SIM is a roaming SIM. Phone is Samsung A22.

VoWiFi was not functioning even when connected to Wifi until yesterday, but started to function from yesterday for eight. That is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.

Did you guys experience this change?

good to see an MVNO support VoWifi. no change for me, nothing phone gets nothing (telco decides which models to support)
(it was supported on st postpaid, but that line is history)

VoWiFi working for my Eight line from the day i got the service working.

My free line is ending soon, I wrote to them but they did not mention about the topup $8 and free $8 though, just want to ask if this promo is still available? :(

Got a call from Eight tech team.

i was told the issue was from Indosat telecom’s vendor in charge of routing the international traffic.

the vendor name is something-sim. Never heard it. Other vendors doing this activity are tata, etc.

I wad told that the vendor was not doing its job properly. And also indosat was to blame as it did not really take a look at the number of undelivered international sms and alert its vendor. I told them can’t really blame them as who still sent international sms.

i also informed him that I could receive intl sms on my simba number without doing anything from simba’s backend. He is also not sure 🤔

But this evening i learnt that i could receive sms from Japan’s softbank number.

not sure what happened in eight’s backend with indo network.

Sigh… why so jialat one? Goodness knows if it’s system wide issue. Otherwise, those who don’t use international sms also won’t know
