There are a few ways for termination:

• You can let the mobile plan run its current cycle and not reload
• Head over to our service centre for termination, please bring along your NRIC that was used for the registration of the number
• You can write in to helpme@eight.com.sgwith the below details as part of user verification. Do note that this action will be irreversible.
  • Name as per NRIC:
  • Last 4 digits of NRIC:
  • Your eight number:
  • Your date of birth:
  • Photo of the back of your SIM card/Screenshot of your “myAccount” login

Yay... I just leave it as it is. Don't recharge until no more signal.

Saw this on their FB page. Key in the 13 digits. Click Get OTP. OTP will be sent to your registered email. Key in the OTP to login. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know how to login to MyAccount for data only SIM card?

The MyAccount login on their website only accepts 8 digit mobile number. The number for data only plan is 13 digits.

or is it have to use their android app?

I logged in to account after activation and auto recharge already turned on. Better to double check too.

Yah I managed to log in.

but when I pressed “Login” (while on the eight SIM card WiFi), after keying in the OTP, the progress wheel will turn for quite some time, then I get “internal server error”, then I press “Login” again and it will let me in

I think this can be a backup option if you wfh and your MR/ M1 got outage.

Correct. Pages load, no lag. That's why I haven't felt a difference.

Came back from China and Vietnam.

Roaming works fine.

however.

1. iDD call cannot work in Vietnam Danang. When someone tried to call me directly to my line from Singapore, the connection cannot go thru. Same when I tried to dial back also cannot. WhatsApp call via Data working fine without issue. I have a simba card with me and is working fine (both data and did calls)

2. I noticed my Eight plan is still in 1GB international roaming and have not upgraded to 2GB. My friend who ported in same time as me have already upgraded to 2gb already. Anyone facing the same issue?

3. will be going to KL and US soon. Will test out the network there. If Eight upgrade me to 2GB, I will have a total of 2+3GB roaming data in US, for 2.5 weeks. Might not be enough for me though.

I signed up at retailer (paid $8) yesterday (2024-10-30), activated the line today and still pending the port-in.

Now I saw Main Balance: $8.00 (I assumed this is the $8 promo for new sign up), Renews on 2024-11-30 and I have enabled the Auto-Recharge.

So I don't have to recharge the line untill 2024-12-30, and from now onwards i can purchase the topup from Shopee anytime, is that correct?
