How come u all like got no prob like no data when your main balance still got money.

the customer service damn slow to respond.
1 or 2 days answer 1 question and never resolve my problem.

basically bought a $8 data plan, worked for a month and then subsequently not working since 17 dec. until now sim card not working and I have $40 in main balance. They told me to recharge but there is money in my account and the website/app is so simple, there is nth else to click on.

The good thing is can receive otp via email. Simba sends sms but I use it for car cam, no way to receive sms and very troublesome to check account

What strikes me as odd in the screenshot is that the Double Eight plan renews on 25 March 2025. Doesn't make sense to me. I didn't know that delayed recharges are possible.

I suspect that it is a bug.

He probably did a few purchases of Recharge online. Recharge extends the renewal date, whereas the more commonly method people use is the top up Main Balance option.

I am using Eight sim card. I have the following query:

1. When I'm in Australia, can I receive phone calls from Singapore? Will I be charged?
2. From Australia, can I call Singapore? Will I be charged?

Thank you.

If the person in Singapore using an Eight line, I'm quite sure you will be able to receive.

2. From Australia, can I call Singapore? Will I be charged?

Thank you.
Our plans do include 288mins roaming calls back to Singapore and at the destination you roam at!
From the above from Eight faq, you have 288 mins free to call back to Singapore.

I just applied for a port in for eight from SIMBA. I have one question that is not on the FAQ

I will be given a temp number for 1-3 days while the porting in is in progress. The question is, during this time, if I called someone on the phone, would my temporary number show up on his phone or he will know it’s from me? And what’s happens to the WhatsApp and other messaging apps since my phone number is different, albeit only for 1-3 days?

Before the Porting is carried out, u should have 2 numbers in play. Both are valid, separate phone numbers

I just submitted yesterday. Should get the new SIM card next week. Actually SIMBA is ok but the network is really bad and slow. Hope eight is better (it is cheaper also so it helps 😂)

Your Simba line can continue to use until it's cut, which usually happens near midnight. After which for 2-3 hrs your current number is uncontactable. You can then insert your Eight SIM card and use your temporary number to surf and call. When you call out your temporary number would appear as caller id to receiver. WhatsApp and Telegram not affected.
Once port over is successful, you would receive a SMS notification. Your current number would be in use. You can test by getting someone to call your current number. Also test bank OTP SMS.
