No, any retailer or even in Eight account, as long you top up a single amount of $28 you should get another $10 bonus credit.
If that shopee or lazada store doesn't have the $28 top up option, then choose another one that has $28 top up option.

That was not only a screenshot, but a real leaked test page on eight sign up. I tried to go through the "sign up process " for Eight senior plan at $5.

I guess they haven't finalise and calculate how profitable is this plan. Unless they undercut simba by selling it at $4.80/mth with 138GB SG/MY data.

Hope they don't undercut Simba, Simba needs to survive otherwise all of us will suffer.

For most consumers, the cheapest SG/MY plan is $8 with 228GB, offered by Eight. However, if you qualify as senior citizen, Simba's $5 plan with 100GB SG/MY data might be a more cost-effective option.

If eight want to take it to next level, they should offer it to the $18 plan.

.I had the $5 data only plan, maybe they forgotten about that. They had too many plans and some more their data only plan is not listed in the website

Being left out of their website (page listing 'all' their plans, at least) to me is like they want to offer that plan but yet don't want too many people to know.

is this a good deal? Any better deal than this one?

My opinion is that so long I’m paying lesser than $8 per month for the service, be happy about it.

Or wait for the next promotion that comes along. It could be better than this.
