Did u guys notice significant slowness with the eight network the past 2-3 weeks? Sometimes can’t even stream normal YouTube videos without lags. I’m beginning to regret topping up

Just ported main line over from GIGA to EIGHT. First time seeing a port that only took 30 mins, which started at 10PM and ended at 10.30PM.

Well, i guess i can take advantage of this 1 for 1 deal for main line alongside the free 2 months for port in

Paying 18 SGD for 5G that i can only use probably 33% of my time just isn't worth it anymore. Once train is underground or inside starhub HQ, it's back to 4 freaking G.

Just received my eight Sim card via mail. Activated it, everything is OK except can't call out or call the eight mobile number. No tone. Messenging and surf net is okie. Weird.. Anyone encounter such issue? Think got to go down to service counter later on

Maybe their cost is much lower. We used to pay much more with the main telco (>20sgd per month) until mvno (zym, circle, vivifi etc) comes into market with those 10 dollar plan. Now we are just benefiting from price competition between simba and eight

assumption they buy on wholesale bandwidth just like home internet with unlimited
more user only result in useable experience, but not major incremental cost
plus upfront payment at their end
overall it doesnt look bad on their end since at the same time can lure higher user base as promotion
