5G plan had been replaced by 5G+ plan @ same pricing. There had removed 4G plan (for new users), existing still can continue enjoying it.
I believe at this point in time, all users can still select the legacy 4G plans for recharge regardless of their initial plan?

Ported from zero1 to eight 5G+ ultra. No sign up for the annual plan in case no good still can port out again.

I feel zero1 4G speed is faster than eight 5G. Not sure of whether eight 5G+ is really fast. I will know it tmr when converted from 5G to 5G+.

You meant the main data? Or APAC and International? Main data has roaming too (SG, MY, ID, TH & HK).

In their FAQ, this is under the "Local Data Rollover" section, hopefully it will get updated soon to include APAC and International:

Data rollover lets you to save your unused local data to the next month! You can roll 8 months of data up to 5TB+ local data that you can use across SG, MY, ID, TH & HK! Applicable for all new sign ups / port-ins and existing customers, renewing from 29 May onwards.

Btw, noticed that their sign up page still allows you to select legacy plans, except perhaps the original $8 4G plan and the limited edition $10.80 5G value plan.

EDIT:
Just noticed that their webpage no longer says "All 5G+ Plans come with free data & roaming rollover".
Looks like they quickly updated it after seeing the above post :ROFLMAO:

FYI I used M1 Maxx and Eight 888 plan when I was in Northern Xinjiang for 12 days earlier this month. M1 was my primary data sim as they have an agreement with China Mobile which Eight doesn’t have. I couldn’t get M1 to switch to any of the other telcos, even trying to manually select. Anyway there were places in my route which China Mobile had no coverage but China Telecom/unicom had and vice versa. So having the ability to switch between the sims helped. My earlier trip this year to Zhangjiajie, I only had the eight sim and had similar outages so that’s why I signed up for Maxx for this trip Just for China Mobile. I did write to Eight on my return from my last trip about adding China mobile back as an Eight roaming partner and they replied to say that they have forwarded the request to the respective team.
I had to make a china call to the airline for 16 mins and the IDD worked on Eight perfectly but didn’t work on M1 Maxx Plan.

Anyone know why the 5G no longer shows? Restart etc and it only shows for a sec then disappears
Just went down to eight's service center. They say quite a lot of users are affected. Need to wait up to 3 days for their network team to do something about it

From the FAQ:

All 5G+ plans feature data rollover for local, APAC, and International (Group A) roaming. Coverage includes Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong standard, with the Ultra and Supreme plans adding Japan, China, South Korea, and Australia.

Maybe that's why I've been having phone heating issues since yesterday. It seems my phone having issue connect to 5G network, so it switched to 4G while continuously trying to go back to 5G. That results in the phone overheating and the battery life drops very fast.

Eight has updated its senior plan to 5G+ at a higher price on its website and app.
What will happen to the current 4G senior plan users that costs $5 per month?

I thought M1 china roaming partner is CT and CM?
