There is no $11.80 5G+ plan show on eight front page. So your need to manually recharge to upgrade your plan to $12.80 5G+ plan or downgrade to $10.80 5G+ plan. Thank you.
This one seems tricky :
$10.80 has less APAC/Int quota, the only advantage is the rollover
$12.80 provides slight increase in local data/sms & IDD, plus rollover for $1 more.
Depending on ones requirement it could make sense to stay on $11.80.

How is your 5G+ experience? Do you lost signal once it is out of coverage or it will automatically downgrade to 4G?
Other than some places I notice speed from 50+ boost to 200+
no different when in crowded places and inside MRT during peak period
4G works better

Could anyone using Eight (specifically the Senior Plan) test if you can access www.haze.gov.sg?
I’m unable to load the site over my Eight mobile data on both Safari and Orion browsers. However, it loads immediately when I switch to Singtel data or turn on a VPN.
Just trying to figure out if this is an Eight routing/DNS issue or specific to my line.

Roaming is dependent on overseas signal towers and maintenance leh...
Not sure just sharing my experience.. coz my gomo at the same area has perfect connectivity connecting to the same telco..my eight has to manually connect to roaming partner also gomo connect automatically..

But also the roaming agreement between the local provider and overseas roaming partners.
For example, Starhub MNO plan, Starhub Prepaid plans, eight and giga may have different tier of roaming agreement with the overseas roaming partners, even though they are all under Starhub.
Same for SingTel, Gomo and hi! by SingTel.

Some glitches? My $8 Double Eight Plan info on web portal is showing an older plan package of 528gb and no rollover data which was there yesterday.

Huh?! had been enjoying the roll-over data for the past 2 months liao, yesterday my data including roll over was around 1010gb and the monthly data given was 588gb and not 528gb which was an older version. Think it is a glitch. Or may be there is a revert to the less attractive old package to encourage 5G plan upgrade? Nevertheless, if so, it is ok, 528gb is actually more than enough.

Haha, we do not really use the S$8 line other than as a back-up or occassional roaming usage.
So it does not matter whether got local data roll-over or not...
Current usage this month -- zero usage this month.

Looks like a glitch then. Indeed even the old S$8 4G plan and the S$5 Senior 4G plan are entitled for local data rollover.
