Elderly knee issues

Hi, my mum have painful knee issues but refuse to go for operation as she is already 74yo. I saw online there is a temporary pain relieaf injection. Anyone came across that? Can share?

Common knee pain injections include corticosteroids for rapid, temporary inflammation relief (lasting weeks to months)
