As premium will be locked at the age when u buy in

My care plus is 2 out of 6 adls. Its easier to claim compare to 3 out if 6 adls.

You should also look at whatever TPD coverage you have in any life insurance you already have, and at Disability Income Insurance (DII). DII and ElderShield/CareShield Life differ in important ways. Ordinarily you need the former (even desperately) and may or may not need the latter.

CareShield is 3 out of 6. So if you are looking at 2 out of 6, you can upgrade now.

Subsequently when CareShield is out, and you find it more value for money for the coverage, you have the choice to switch over to CareShield, or to remain at your current upgraded MyCare Plus.

Need to calculate how much more premium to upgrade from 3 ADLs to 2 ADLs, and are you willing to pay more and longer period just to upgrade? Careshield life premium only pay until age 67? Upgrade already premium needs to pay until age 80+, depending on which insurance co? Correct me if I am wrong.
