I regret to inform you that the electricity bill will become even more higher in the future because of the so-called “green” initiatives.

Yah to add on with the push to EV and the need to cover the income loss from tax revenue on petrol, they definitely have to charge higher electricity cost when most cars are using electricity to charge.

Plus the fact that sg gov stated they wanted to be carbon neutral and recently signing some electricity supply from Indonesia to get solar power. Solar farm is not green at all. You need to clear and use land for putting up the panel. Unless all solar panel are on buildings. How is clearing more land and greenery is green ?

End of day will tell sinkies.. you need to do your parts to be green and to be green you need to pay more. If you dont agree can say you anti environment and want to destroy earth and want future generation to suffer. This is the usual global bs about green.

Not all country have enough wind power. hydro power and even land for even solar panel to harness full power for daily use.

same...now i blast more ac at home, the heat is really unbearable.
i rather cut less 1 or 2 meals outside to enjoy more ac at home comfort.

Stay outside and enjoy free air con better
