Yea joined already, also sent to acton group to join.

But this weekend I cannot ride. Don't know the rest of acton can ride or not, think most in SG got their acton board liao after everyone chase them together.

Sounds good! Hope to receive my Arc Aileron this weekend so that I can ride it over the long weekend.

For the people who own high-end Esk8s (Evolve, Boosted etc etc), do they just ride at the lower speed gears to comply with the LTA's regulation of 25km/h or do they make a request to the guys selling them to limit their speed?

Looking to make a purchase of an Bamboo/Carbon AT or Carbon GT, but I am not sure how LTA affects this because I am sure Evolve's boards are faster than 25km/h.

The board can go fast is one thing, you dare to go so fast or not? I go max 20km/h i scared liao. Totally different from escooter, escooter got handle, so more stable. Skateboard is scary when going fast.

yeah, i always just "slow cruise" mode (must let go of throttle otherwise will just keep going faster and faster), too scary! :s13:

Hahaha I'm the same way. Even on smooth pavements and with a stable ride, I don't dare to go fast just in case got a stone on the road, or a kid running... Too many unpredictable things that can happen.

Hello, came across this forum. Any ideas where you can purchase extra belt for your electric skateboard? Any shop in Singapore to recommend?

I'll probably get it from taobao or aliexpress. Most belts are standard parts and not unique to the skateboards so you can get straight from the OEMs I believe.

After getting my electric skateboard and riding a few times, I've already tighten the trucks, but the top speed I dare to go is only 20km/h.

How you guys manage to go so fast?

Depending on the deck length, wheelbase, design of the board (how low it is from the ground), wheel diameter and other aftermarket modifications, some boards are just more stable at higher speed. Yours is the Acton S or S2 right? It won't be as stable as a longboard at higher speed.

Ya lah, it's only 27.7 inch. You should join us for the Jedboard demo session, it's a 41 inch deck, you can then feel the difference in stability at high speed.

Anyone DIY any sort of hanger for their boards? Those that don't require to drill.

as answered in other thread. No issue importing, exempt regn/inspection too. Also keen and looking at it too.
