u will need to get a step up/down transformer to change the voltage to 110v.

however, if u have already tried using in sg, chances are, the hairdryer is already damaged by the high voltage here. i suggest u try to borrow a transformer to test whether ur hairdryer is still working, before actually buying a transformer

You need a step down transformer, some come in two mode. You also need to check the Power ouput rating of the transformer, if not it will overload and blown the transformer. The higher the Power ouput rating, the more expensive. Good luck getting one in Sg, is not going to be cheap. Buying electrical in Japan need to check if they come with 100-240v adapter range, if not I think no point.

You can go to homefix/diy shop or Best Denki for transformers.
Cost would be from $50 for those 200watt type to $300++ for those above 1000watt type.

Try Cash Converter for 2nd hand xformer but test it first.
If the cost of the xformer is more than that of a locally available hair dryer, it makes no sense to get that xformer: heavy and so ma-fan, single dedicated use for that dryer only, after that a doorstop or paperweight.

Lesson learned: check voltages before buying electrical equipment overseas
