Would like to gather pearls of wisdom on which one is a better choice.
EA is big and spacious but EM is more exclusive.
EM has two stories. I like the fact that the living/dining/kitchen and the bedrooms are separate areas.
However, EM kitchen and living area seem to be smaller than EA? Open concept kitchen seems to be a challenge.
And the stairs can go both ways:
1) feel more atas got two stories
2) need to climb up and down and need to clean the steps manually
Used to live in an EA but felt it was too big. Lots of under-utilised areas. But enjoyed the spaciousness.
Never lived in an EM. But when young, lived in a double storey terrace house before. Didn’t like the climbing up and down after a while, especially at night when tired, still had to climb up to the bedroom.
Maybe too long never climb stairs, felt that it’s novel again.
But when I look at both options, I feel that for the money for EA, might as well buy an EM.
