Embry-Riddle university

Hi people. I know embry riddle aeronautical university recognized in aviation industry, what about all other industry? As future is very hard to predict, who knows twenty years down the road this industry is no longer booming? Would like to hear more advice. Thank you.

Are you sure that this industry will not be booming 20 years down the road?

Governments in the world are trying so hard to get space to build airports, and in US, several planes take off and land every second.

Anyway Embry Riddle has the Aviation Management degree. It's a very interesting degree, but the tuition fee is quite high.

I'm thinking what if few years down, I thinking of changing industry. At the same time I'm afraid that this university certificate is not recognized in other industry..

If the tuition fee is not an issue to you, you can always take the Bachelor in Aviation Business Administration degree.

I am only looking at this degree primarily is contains the best of both worlds. It has the Aviation component as well as the management component. So in any case if you aren't interested in the aviation industry anymore, you can always take a switch out to general management roles or probably finance roles.

I have the same thoughts as you, But one thing that is bothering me. Will the ERAU certificate recognized in other non-aviation management sector?

To get into business related jobs in Aviation Industry, a Business degree can also get the job.

To get into Management positions in Aviation Industry, you needs the experience & qualification but never an Aviation Business degree.

To be competent as a fresh graduate in business related jobs in other Industry, Aviation Business degree cover very little compare to Business degree.

I see your answer there. Most probably will go into business degree, as I don't want to be working shifts.

I have a fren in a similar situation as u, he considered going to NZ (quite a no. of his ex course-mates chose that option) but in the end settled for a management degree here due to $$ issues. He still plans to work in aviation (CAG to be exact) in the future though n we both think he made the right choice to stay

It's just management. Bachelor of Science in Management

Well there are over 100 aerospace companies here. More and more airlines especially budget ones are based here, which means companies that provide MRO services are bound to increase too

uol doesn't have a subject called security studies. He's in year 1, doing good or not is subjective

I think you are referring to this bachelor. Looking at the modules, there is a lot of mathematics. Think I will go with Unisim bachelor in business.
