Enable AHCI before install Win10

Hi, im going to install Win10 on a new ssd, samsung 850.Affer connectin the ssd, if i go into bios to enable AHCI, select boot drive as cd rom, then install win10..is that good enough or must i dl AHCI drivers from my mobo website? I using gigabyte z170x g1 gaming.would i also need to tweak the ssd to optimize it as per those win10 ssd optimization guide? Thanks in advance!!

nah u dun need to do that. once the mobo recognize u using AHCI, they will all change to AHCI system, dun need to download any driver.

Oh great!! 2 more qns pls..Even the registry tweaks also can skip?
So its as good as plug in, chg boot device orde to cdrom n install windows from cd to ssd ya?

Yes u can. But make sure u set ahci mode in your BIOS b4 installing.
Yup pretty much that's it.

Any tweak to make the OS faster ?

is your hdd on OS or SSD?

if hdd i can give u some links that teach you to reduce some things to speed up abit of the OS boot speed.

but if on SSD, i doubt that u are having a slow loading.
