Anyone sitting on branded 0W20 oil but want to try switch to 30-weight oil for whatever reason, e.g. you found that your engine eat oil when you use 20-weight, etc?

I am sitting on 1.5 gallons of Red Line 5W30, which is equivalent to 6 quarts. The 1/2 gallon has a bit more than 1/2 in it actually.

I am looking to trade for any of the following:
  • 6 quarts of Mobil1 0W20 AFE (strictly AFE only, not interested in EP)
  • 6 quarts or 1.5 gallons of Red Line 0W20 (if you have 2 gallons, I’ll top you up cash)
  • 6 quarts of Amsoil Signature 0W20
  • 3 tins of 2L Motul 300V 0W20
Anyone have the above and interested to trade, PM me. Not interested in any other type of oil not listed above.

Is it worth paying $40 more for Amsoil Signature series over Motul H-Tech? Same W20

I'd usually try the hyped oil for one interval. If fuel consumption drop more than 0.5km/l or get more vroom then it is well worth it, else at least I satisfied my curiosity.

lol. Does using less oil hurt ? I bought 3 instead of 4 quartz . Mechanic say is ok though , just a few 100 ml off full mark

You're fine as long as it's between the min and max of the engine oil dipstick.

Recently learnt below 100km, use only full synthetic.
Some cheaper oils are blended with mineral oil.

FYI, the 5w30 is only semi-synthetic, unless you are referring to the GR labelled oils.
