if is new then it golden color. after using awhile it should turn abit brown which is normal.
if you are really worried about engine condition then i suggest go for used oil analysis which i do it every yr or after every track day which cost about us$28.

Since this is a COE car and I assume you are driving it for the next 5 years, you might just as well 'reset' the maintenance schedule. And it did 170k km already and you do not know when the last major servicing was performed or the parts replaced.
Perform an engine oil and ATF change. Change the spark plugs.
Brake pads and fluid. Check and replace if necessary.
Don't forget powersteering. If hydraulic, replace the fluid.
Replace the belts, tensioner, engine mounts.
Perform 4 wheels alignment. If tyres are old, change them.
Change water pump and replace coolent.
Basically treat this like a major servicing at 80k km. Should not cost more than 2k in all excluding tyres.
Already changed AT transmission oil and engine mounts and engine oil and tyres The rest my machanics said dont need.. got problem then change..not neccessary to do a major servicing.

By the time there is problem, your car might need to be towed to the workshop.
Unlike conti cars where sensors will provide some form of predictive maintenance capabilities, a failure of the belts or water pump could be rather major. They should be changed as part of preventive maintenance.
When was the last time spark plugs were changed?
Not necessary tow back to ws..i believe if part fails it should show smyptoms then just drive back to ws to check. I think regular servicing is important.. just check with mechanics.
Last time one of my my car spark plugs also managed to go back to ws to check.. i know many malaysian they just do enginw oil change..din see them change these and that after 100k or what.. anyway i am more of a budget type. Thanks.
