That easy to start own biz? I know many ppl that tried only one successful. Question is how easy to be a successful entrepreneur?

It is rather sad that engineering grad must search high and low for a more decent pay.

Biz grads in banking gets head hunted all the time. Locally and to overseas for even crazier pay package.

That is the reason why I used Australia, Sydney.

In Australia, lunch at least $8? One coffee at least $3? One train ride from suburb to city is $5? Parking in city is $18 for early bird.

Which one u want? Earn $5/mth but pay 2K tax, $2 cai peng, $1 coffee and $1.8 public transport or earn $8/mth, but pay $20K tax, $8 lunch , $3 coffee,$5 bus ride? ?? Also, auzzie dun have 13 month bonus practice and companies also seldom give out bonus. Housing interest rate at 2.5% or at 6.5%? Where the interest you earn on ur fixed deposit or dividend on tax they also tax you?

In Sg, most people can only afford public transport like MRT & bus. In OZ, you can get a 2nd hand car for life with A$2K+ & that is the reason why OZ public transport fee is higher cause lesser people take public transport because they have car.

A security officer in OZ earn lowest around A$4K per month because of Min wage & let say his tax is 50%, he still take home A$2K. A security officer in Singapore earn lowest around $1200 & take home $960 after 20% CPF.

Renter for Apartment & Unit is A$100++ a week while Villa is about A$300++ a week. To buy a land & build a Villa cost you around A$200++ to A$300++ a week for loan. When they say 4 rooms mean 4 rooms & not like HDB 4 room flat is 3 rooms plus 1 living room.

If you eat out, 1meal cost around A$10+ however if you buy & cook on your own, it is about the same price as Singapore. Their culture is to cook at home because they go home on time while we can only buy our meal outside because we force ourselves to finish the ton of works in Singapore.

In OZ, boss ask you permission to work OT & you will be pay OT while in Singapore, the boss can just throw ton of work to you at knock off time & needs it next day in the morning forcing you to work OT without OT paid.

In Singapore, you can easily be replace by Singaporean, PR or FT. A FT do not needs to know English, get their certs & working experiences skill assess to work in SG or your job while in OZ, most of the FT will needs to know English, get their certs & working experiences skill assess to be consider for visa & job employment.

In OZ, medicare is free, pri-sec sch education is free & etc. If I am unemployed, I can get help for $$ too to get foods & etc.

However in Singapore even if medical & foods is affordable, if I am unemployed mean it is my own problem to find $ to see doctor & buy foods to eat or die at street.

Overall, I rather pay more tax to cover myself in OZ rather then to die on a street (strangely that is my own problem & not SG Govt when I do NS & pay tax too).

Both have pros n Cons, 1 similarity is tat u r a second grade citizen in both spore n Australia. But I would feel tat Australia govt treat its citizens much better than spore, spore only nice to FT, PR and the very rich citizens loh

Most poor people that start their biz got a money backer.

And that money backer person nearly always ends up being a banker as this person got too much money and do not know where to put his/her money.

Everything have 2 side of coin & it ready depend on how I view.

Most of the people I know there have family (expect for a rich girl). Their parent or spouse is not working & will focus on children & household works such as cooking.

I will not go for Centrelink help unless needed. However I have free medicare to settle simple illness & buy insurance to settle other thing.

In Singapore even if it is affordable, I still needs to pay even if I am unemployed unless those type of free TMC & etc which I needs to go there place on the day they operate for free.

Haha, you mean 45% tax? It is complicated in OZ tax cause there are rebate as well. I am still learning (^^")

Blue collar job. They are white collar & office job. Btw, they don't call Blue/White collar job there.
