Engineering to business

Any one who holds a engineering diploma and doing business degree?

Is it difficult to understand those business terms during lesson?

I am one. ;) Switched to economics and management rather, but the concepts will be all the same.

Your analytical skills used during your engineering studies will come in useful, although you need to adapt to the different concepts.

I think its more like the other way around. That engineering to me, seems way tougher. Coming from a biz degree i'd say you'll do just fine, probably just need to look out for a degree that accepts a engineering diploma.

May I ask what engineering diploma you took? Have you completed your degree?

I'm studied mechatronic diploma from np and took logistic and supply chain degree from unisim after 3 years of engineering job. Graduated 2 years back with merit despite I only score D7 in English during my O'level which I believe TS should be scoring better than me.

Therefore it shouldn't be an issue if you pay attention in the class and study smart.

One of the TS from another post is seeking advise as he plan to jump from business diploma to engineering degree. That should be consider very difficult cos degree engineering cannot play play one. Without basic engineering knowledge from diploma, I doubts he can complete the course even if the uni accept him...
