Any member here enlisting to SCDF on 4th Feb 10:30am??? CMPB gave me a Pes E1L9, and I have to go for a 4 day induction programme, any idea what is that??? Gotta stay in for 4 days?
The 4 day induction course is not stay in. U get to book out at 5.30pm on mon-thurs and 5pm on fridays, book in time is latest by 7.45am. The induction course is an introductory to SCDF core values and mission etc. U will be doing some footdrill, learn to use the fire extinguisher, visit the Detention Barracks (DB), stuff like that. After which u will need to go thru a 7 day clerk course.
So in total u will be a recruit/trainee for 11 working days. After which u will be posted out.
Basically just bring these on your enlistment day.
1) IC
2) The letter u got from CMPB
3) Some money for your haircut (if u are not planning to shave ur head before enlisting)
p.s your first day you will be bringing back hme a lot of stuff, uniforms, boots, PT shoes etc.
