Enlistment day activities?

Just to check, I got a friend who is enlisting next week and the letter indicates to report to BMTC HQ (Tekong) at 11:45am.


want to check if any1 knows what is the schedule on the enlistment day like and what time will the enlistment exercise end for visitors?

Enlistment day schedule very standard. Go PRBI, wait for bus. Take bus, wait for ferry. After you step off ferry and enter ladang will go two seperate ways. Parents/friends will go for seperate talk / tour / etc. Rec will go to change pink IC for 11b and get a slip of paper telling them which coy they are in. Then after that is the oath taking ceremony. Once the ceremony is over go outside, meet your parents, makan at the cookhouse together. They will inform you when it's done, fall in outside at the parade square, parents will leave tekong after that, you will proceed to coy line to begin other admin stuff (distribution of items, clothes, shoes, boots etc).

Not sure how long it will take total but I'd give it about 2-3 hours.

if i m not wrong your friend should had receive the information kit list that states the duration of the events etc, and the number of "admission tickets" for each visitor to join u.

Done in batches. I remember my timeslot back when I enlsited was either 8.45am or 9.45am.

Frankly, earlier better since you have a few more hours to settle in. I recall my coy alr having RO (debrief for the day + brief for the next day's activities) but the other coys that came in at a later timeslot still shaving their heads
