Enquiry about this Mid-Tier set-up..

I have looked through the recommended set-ups in the first page of the set-up thread and shortlisted the following:

The above set-up is within my budget. But can I know if this set-up is still up-to-date? As the page's 'last updated' was quite some time ago.

I just need a fast computer (strong processor) and decent graphics. As most of the time I will just be using it for work stuffs (Words, Excels etc.) or watching movies.

top up a little bit more for SSD and your PC will be fast.
the rest seems okay. although the parts are kind of a bit outdated.

well u can just use onboard GPU for ur video and its still working smoothly. and this is the gpu reco for you.
