Hi All,

Anyone bought MacBook Pro Retina via the 12 months interest-free installment plan before from Apple SG Store?

I'm planning to get the 256 GB SSD 13" inch model.

I know the installment plan is currently processed by Citibank Credit Card and is subjected to approval.

Does anyone have any previous experiences?

The full purchase price of your laptop is always charged to your credit card from Day 1. So you have less credit limit to spend once you put your MBP on instalment.
You cannot assume Citibank only charge your credit card the instalment amount every month.

So it means that no matter what, i still will be paying the full price upfront.

Buy from HN Courts or best Denki. They have cc installment payment plans.

dont ever go for Courts installment plan. Its a killer. U end up paying more than u should.

All installment plan are charged upfront. Bank pay for you in full then they ask you to pay them monthly

Installment plan is not worth. It's always charged full upfront and credit limit decreases.

So I would suggest just paying full

because of budget issue i can't pay full amount as i currently using acer laptop which is bought from courts via 12 months installment.

Just go down to any Authorized Apple Resellers and ask for credit card installment and it's usually 6 or 12 months plan.

Nothing wrong with using credit card instalments as in actual fact u are not paying additional amount. They are usually interest free. If used up your credit limit, can get another banks's credit card.

Key thing is just that please pay on time as the interest can be a killer.
