hey, i was recently given a second rig with the following specs

i do some light gaming and on the com about 6 hours per weekday and up to 16 on weekend

MOBO MSI p55a-g55 + i5 760
RAM G.Skill ripjaw 1600 CL9-9-9-24 2GB x 2
ODD Samsung DVD RW
HDD (getting a 1TB wd blue)
SSD (have a m4 128gb)
GPU sapphire 6850 toxic edition
PSU cougar 600cm
CASE coolermaster elite 310

just like to ask if i need to change the psu? not sure about how reliable is this brand and would a 600w psu draw a lot of power

and also if i should change to a 2 x 4gb value ram as well

also to ask is my gfx card still good for games like guildwar 2? i dont need to play on very high setting

no budget to upgrade other parts though

600W - means (by right) that the PSU can supply up to 600W of power. If the system requires 100W, the PSU will supply 100W and draw 100 / %PSU-efficiency off the wall.

Cougar is a iffy brand. Some models are decent (not Seasonic/ Super Flower/ Delta level of good quality). Some.

If your OS is not 64 bit, ram upgrade is useless.

8GB will make marginal difference, if any (with a 64 bit OS). If Guild Wars 2 is large address aware and whatever programs you run in the background suck up ram, then 8GB will be useful.

another question to check, possible for me to get another 2 x 2gb 1600 ripjaw kit ram and use with my current rams so that i will have 4 x 2gb rams

my current ram are G.Skill ripjaw 1600 CL9-9-9-24 2GB x 2

do they need to be the same CL9 and voltages?
