Anyone here can share their experience studying in UniSIM?

For UniSIM fulltime programs, they are 'seminars' instead of lecturers and tutorials. And it is mostly self directed learning. Are the part time ones similar? Based on my poly experience in Self directed learning, its not that effective.

Although we will be more independent, there might be stuff that we are unable to find out about. Are the lecturers helpful?

most of the tutor will guide you, but just dun expect them to spoon feed the student.
you still have to self study first and clear you doubts with them before or after the class ended.

UniSim part time you really need to have strong self determination and drive.

Rem, tat some of the module may have only 1 face to face lecture.

Of course, the lecturer will guide you but not all are as responsive loh, some is like go there teach to past time, you will feel it.

Wah.. That sounds bad! My experience with self directed learning in poly was quite bad.. Info that we couldnt find out was not taught by the lecturer, and resulted in us not learning..

I think its good for the public sector jobs. As for the private sector, really depends on how recognized it gets in future, seeing that its a new programme..
