Yes I am taking UOL thru SIM GE... Hmm isn't UOl one of the more recognized degree in SIM? Well I wanted to take PT then convert to to FT next year cos I ORD next year in dec, wanted to save time cos im in a stay out unit anyway.
I have a different opinion on the UOL,
I do agree that UOL is recognised, in terms of,
- UOL programmes are available in many countries.
- To study an UOL degree does not need a teaching institution.
- Their curriculum is made by UOL's various lead colleges, that includes, top UK university LSE.
- It is convenient and many people have graduated from UOL worldwide.
But, the degree is awarded by University of London.
EMFSS Access New: Title and characteristics of the programme
- It is not awarded by the lead colleges say LSE. LSE award its own degrees, different from UOL.
- UOL is not a ranked university in any charts.
- Because it does not need an institution to study, and even though you may study at SIM GE, it still gives off a general impression of "online degree".
- UOL degree only have 12 modules, any local degree would give you more than 24 modules, thus the rigour curriculum.
Why I suggest Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester because of brand name,
- They are part of an elite UK group - Russell Group that includes top UK universities like Oxford, Cambridge and LSE etc...
Russell Group: Our Universities
- They are ranked universities in THE and QS charts.
- If you search UK's university admission news, you will find that people over at UK aspires to enter Oxbridge or Russell Group universities.
BBC News - Is the Russell Group really an 'oligarchy'?

Why I suggest Buffalo because it is part of AAU a leading USA research group that includes the ivy leagues.
- Part of Association of American Universities (AAU) group
- It is a ranked university in THE and QS charts.
- Their degrees are 3 to 4 year programmes.
- The number of modules can easily exceed 24.
I have to say this... don't rush. See carefully, decide carefully. You can wait till you finish your NS, then apply. If you want to quench your academic desires, you can look into free courses in Edx, Coursera and FutureLearn.
bro im just like u. GPA 2.9. dk where to go after army. dk how the entire thing work, like when i should apply for uni, do i apply for loan first or apply after i get a loan, which uni would be better and which subject to study.

What you need to do is,
- Take a look at SIMGE, PSB, MDIS, Kaplan, and decide which degree fits your career ambitions.
- See their admission requirements. Meet the requirements?
- Then apply to the degree in that institution.
- Then look for financial assistance or tuition loans on the institution website, see the requirements and instructions on does it require you to get an offer first or can apply at the same time as admission application.
- Any questions, quickly email the institution to clarify directly.
You can look at UniSIM's PT degrees as well.
