Hi experienced bros, im totally new to mac and I just bought an used imac for my kid. Reformat recommended? Still have the previous owner login and icloud stuff in it which I don't feel comfortable. Prefer to reformat but not sure how to do it though.

Appreciate you guys can teach me step by step, thanks a lot.

Just do system recovery and install the latest OS.
I'm surprised previous did not reformat his machine before putting for sale.

Thanks bros for the link and advice...when i reached previous seller place...he havent even back up yet...waited near to 1hr for him to back up then packed up, paid and go home...have a nice weekend...cheers
