Epson Ecotank printer users, have they been reliable?

Interested to hear whether they delivered for those who own them. I have above average printing requirements, ~100 pages per week, so thinking whether this series is a good option.

Assuming there's no hidden problems with feeding / printhead / other reliability issues....

And, can the Ecotank printer still continue to print in black after the color inks are depleted?

i bought l210 when first came.out. still using

Once you hit 10k or 20k pages i dont remember, there is a built in failure. it will stop printing and say waste ink full.

Just download a resetting program and continue printing instead of buying new printer

Over times, the rubber rollers that pick up and move papers will wear out and thus causing paper jam. That is the time to buy a new printer.

i had the error message 3 years ago, resetted usingg software still working now. There is no waste ink to remove

I understand now, so this is the one you're referring to? So 3 years later still working fine?

Epson really wants to make sure user cannot argue say want warranty the moment they use this resetter....

I got a L800 unused for 15 month+

this is the first print ... perfect!

and is printed on office paper
