IMHO.
They are available before farnell became element14 !
I was looking at technician's vacuum for particle from toner cartridge.
I guess they came close to hepa which wasn't the in thing at that time.
But it the price for the machine and accessories that was prohibiting.

Now, I lean more towards dust removal then cleaning which was why I am able to come up with the suggestion of air filters, cover with microfiber etc.

I found the time to get and test the "dust management" stuff you suggested and found them to be much more cost-effective. Just that the lint roller cannot use on glass sadly and my tables are mostly glass; most probably will need to use IPA wipes

No worry about static when using Metro DataVac blower.
I have been using it on my 2 rigs since 2014.

Do be careful when blowing compressed air at fan, especially Graphics Card fan. I did blow off almost all the fan blades for a small workstation graphics card fan.

During my experimental days, I would remove whole motherboard for cleaning.
I would use IPA and brushes.
Once, I brushed off a capacitor....

yep. also don't go overly closed ranged with slotted in components like gpus. the air stream from datavac/compucleaner is powerful enough to stress the slot if you let the component catch the air like a sail.

I am also not a fan of canned air; there's a chance that more than just air will come out if you don't keep the can upright at all times.

Indeed, I have heard of such stories too during my search about vacuuming/airdusting your PC, which is why I thought to ask before I invest in such solutions

It appears to me that the most cost-effective and safest method so far is to still use canned air or Datavac (or its clones) to blow out the dust from my PC, then quickly seal the PC and vacuum its surroundings with those handheld vacuum cleaners. For fans, I will use IPA wipes to clean; I found out that it was much more effective than trying to use air duster on them (and as mentioned, may damage the fans anyway)

I saw a Deerma one sold for 34 bucks in Lazada and am considering that since it can be both handheld and also transformed into a normal vacuum cleaner for generic cleaning of my floor. Idea now is to have this at hand so that I can vacuum my room frequently to reduce dust build up in my room in the first place

IMHO.
If you have existing aircon, 3M Filtrete may be your good friend.

I am not sure what is the effect of IPA on glass but so far I have been doing it.

IPA wipes are 70% and useful to attack Covid-19. I am not sure if they will scratch glass.
You may want to consider 99.9% IPA, spray bottles and good quality microfiber.
You can use 99.9% neat and also mix to become IPA 70%.
