Nope, my opinion is that, probably have to wait for Apple to start eSIM models before Singtel is forced into it.thanks.so basically now still not possible to get esim on a SingTel network
very soon it's possible, only Samsung, Apple and Google phones right now have hybrid eSIM and 1 physical SIM. I'm using eSIM on my Samsung and it's not bad. Only mafan thing is when you need to switch to new phones. Now only US iPhones are eSIM only but won’t be long before more iPhones sold in other countries are eSIM only. Then soon, Samsung and the other Android players also follow. Probably within 1-2 years, ST and SH must offer eSIM solution.
mine is japan set and it works, i started with the 4G plan and upgrade to a 5G plan. No problem with either plans but honestly speaking, I gave up on Starhub 5G and just switch phone setting to 4g/LTE.Does Pixel 6a (Japan set) support MyRepublic eSIM?
From their website, they say they support only phones meant for Singapore market.

Anybody knows if it is really what the website says, and non-Singapore set cannot work with their eSIM?
Planning to switch over to eSIM, but my Pixel 6a is Japan set.

so sus!If its true then finally!I think Singtel might launch eSIM with around the dates of the new iPhones this year…. Saw a Singtel “employee” on Linkedin talking about how they were excited about reaching completion of implementation project. Post got swiftly taken down later…so sus!
Where did you get the 15-20 number? Apple’s Support page only mention eight or more so I’m curious: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT213448iphone eSIM no problem because it can store 15 or 20
but other models have limitations in the # of eSIM that they can store, so physical SIM is definitely still worth while
