Now phone companies have to force telcos to do it. Now Apple done it with Air, maybe soon Samsung will follow suit with esim only model. Then will force them to support
I would believe that phones are moving in the direction of eSIM only. Apple is slowly pushing now with a global launch of the eSIM only model. Even China has to support eSIM.

Hope telcos can start asap to make esim usage seamless and easy, eg. can transfer esim to other phones unlimited times and foc. At the same time, we can also help to save some earth's resources by reducing plastic use. I have so many old sim cards on my desk right now. haha...

Last time is every 2 yrs port and get new sim. Nowadays is every 2 months. :D

yah lor... as the market becomes more competitive, the more they should make esims more portable, to attract customers. psim still need to collect physically or courier, it's really a waste of time and money.

Totally agree. Pretty sure most people want it fast and convenient. Get esim and port in within the next working day. Voila! Snail mail is just… slow.
