Dumb question, but does this void the Essential warranty? If so, Is this process reversible to go back to complete stock?

Hi,

That's a great question! We definitely have a number of customers looking to unlock their phone's bootloader and customize their software. Unlocking the bootloader doesn't, in itself, void our warranty. However, our warranty only covers defects that occur under normal usage conditions -- not issues that occur as a result of custom-loaded firmware.
