Yeah will monitor the pointer location. Which case and screen protector are you using?

It's of full adhesive type. Not too sure what is dot matrix effect but I don't see such pattern. There is some air around the centre with rainbow effect - maybe the piece I got is not perfect, but the effect is hardly visible to me when the phone is in use.

This is where the touchscreen randomly fails register a touch, and you'd have to press a few more times before it registers. Mostly happens near the edges of the screen.

FYI, this was fixed by removing my tempered glass protector. The overall touch sensitivity improved too.
