u never heard of how much the South Korean govt is taxing the heir of the Samsung founder?

the heirs eventually have to give away most of the antiques as they have problem paying for the taxes....

so inheritance tax can be a lot a lot of money if you alot of inheritance

South korea inheritane tax is 50% and Japan is 55%

ya tax 55% got 9million left, still better than 0 right?

not all is money...she has things like real estate and royalties etc.......all this things are taxable...so if you are not selling those stuff for cash....u have to pay cash money or stocks out of your pocket to keep those assets...that's why u see ppl set up foundations where they park their money and assets to this foundation...alot of ppl do that to avoid paying taxes

Question is what is the sequence of events? Have to pay first before can get the money? Cannot use the money inherited to pay the tax?

18 mil in estate. We dunno the details.
But imagine having to pay to maintain or taxes to get rid off.
More headache than not getting any to begin with.

The fault does not lie with the money.

钱是沒有罪的. 为何与钱作对?

Whether he take or don't take, the deceased would not know. Machiam he want to make the dead feel bad.

i think that the taxes are paid by the people who inherit the estate and not paid by the estate

What a piece of char siew
you dont get it do you....

16mill in property yes. [ e.g ]

but 40 to 50% tax must be handed over first, before the house is sold iirc , or inherit.

basically if the son needs to give 5mill [ e.g ] before inheriting the 16milll , he needs to take a loan.

and in JP bank loans are rbad....

theres a reason why their country declined so badly

He needs to pay for the inheritance tax upfront so cannot afford.

Now the question is whether Miho's mother will give up also?

Then her chio younger sister will be next..

Well hear online. The reason is that he is not close to the mother. That's why don't want to inherit.
